After picking up my new cinematographer from Home Depot, I gave him a lighting test to make sure he can cut the mustard. He passes it brilliantly but I still end up no better off than when I started.

Why is it so hard to find a cinematographer? All I ask for, is that they’ve already shot the kind of thing I’m looking for. Is that asking for too much? All Roberto has on his reel is a scene from a stupid mumblecore movie. I questioned him about it and he told me where I can go.
